6 1/2 c flour
2 tbsp sugar
1 c canola oil
2 c wine (white & vermouth)
1/2 tsp sale
1/4 tsp cinnamon
grated orange grind
1 qt corn oil for frying

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, sugar, salt, cinnamon and orange grind together. Mix wine and oil on stove until boiling. Pour wine mixture into flour mixture, stirring with wooden spoon until cool to touch.

Knead well and roll into long strips then cutting into 1' pieces.
Roll each piece on potato masher
Spread on table to dry - when dried fry till golden brown
Drain on paper towel till cook
Heat honey in frying paper - drizzle over cookie.
