Ingredients: 1 1/2 - 2 lb. lean ground beef 1 28 oz can tomato sauce 1 28 oz can diced tomatoes - undrained 2 c cooked converted or long grain white rice 2 c chopped green peppers 2 beef bouillon cubes dissolved in 2 c hot water 1/4 c packed brown sugar 2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. pepper * I also add 1 small jar of DelGrosso Sloppy Joe Sauce

Directions:In a large sauce pan or Dutch oven, brown beef; drain; add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat. Cook and simmer 30 - 40 minutes or until peppers are tender.
I cook this all night and all day in a crockpot. I don't add the rice until about 40 minutes before serving. |

Notes: Every time I made this for a luncheon at work, there was never a spoonful left. It's easy and good. It does not taste like green peppers. Mmmmmmmmm!
