1 cup chopped dates
1/2 cup oleo
1 egg
1 cup white sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup chopped walnuts
2 cups Rice Crispies
coconut for rolling

Directions:
Directions:
Put first 4 ingredients in pan and cook until thick. Add 1 tsp. vanilla and 1 cup chopped nuts.then Rice Crispies. Mix together. Cool slightly. Grease hands with butter. Roll in balls and then roll in coconut to coat. VERY GOOD!
