1 cup sugar
1/2 cup margarine
2 eggs

Mix the above well. Add 1 tsp. baking soda to 1/2 cup sour milk or buttermilk. Add to above mixture. Add 2 cups flour and 3 very ripe mashed bananas.

Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.

Walnuts or chocolate chips can be added to this recipe.

NOTES: I make sour milk by adding one teaspoon of lemon juice to the milk. I ONLY use the small pans (approximately 2 x 4"). This recipe freezes well.
