1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg

1 1/4 cup all-purpose flower
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Grease cookie sheets.

Mix thoroughly shortening, peanut butter, brown sugar, and egg.

Blend in flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.

Shape dough into 1 inch balls; place 3 inches apart on cookie sheets.

Flatten with floured fork in crisscross pattern
