1-2 lbs of cubed meat
***left over Roast Beef or Steak, browned cubed of your favorite steak or browned hamburger will do.
2 T good Extra Virgin Olive Oil - or your Favorite
1 diced onion of your choice
2 cloves chopped garlic
2 cups of beef broth in cartons or made from paste, bullion
2 cans diced tomatoes
2 T red wine vinegar or apple cider vinegar
1 cup fresh sliced carrots
1 cup diced potato
1 diced onion of your choice
1 - 2 cups of chopped cabbage
1 cup Frozen or canned green beans
Broccoli or fresh zucchini can also be added.
1 cup frozen peas - added towards end and warmed through.

My new additions to the old classic.
1 TSP of Franks Red Hot
1/4 cup of your favorite Red wine

* I chose not to use corn, but Mom did.

Stove Stop in Dutch over works best to control heat and not overcook veggies.
Crock Pot will work as well, cook till desired tenderness

Toss ingredients with browned meat. Heat Dutch oven on high 20 - 30 minutes then down to medium for about an hour.

I keep this healthy with not much fat on the meat.
also like to serve over 1/4 cup of fresh spinach leaves and they wilt as you stir them in.
