1 lb. Great Northern Beans
7 cups water

Soak beans in water overnight

1 Tsp. Salt
2 Garlic Cloves minced
1 1/2 C. Onion diced small
1/2 C. Molasses
3 T. Prepared Yellow Mustard
2 T Brown Sugar
1 C. Bacon Pieces
1 Can 16 oz. Tomato Sauce

Directions:

Soak beans in water overnight. Put in pressure cooker in the morning on 15 lb. pressure for 2 minutes, turn off heat and remove pressure weight, let stand 10 minutes.

Add beans to baking dish or crock pot. Sautee onion, garlic and bacon pieces under browned and tender, and add to beans in baking dish, add salt, molasses, mustard and tomato sauce. Bake 5-6 hours in a porous baking dish on 250 to 300º heat.

Optional: Add a few drops of Liquid Smoke if a more smoked flavor is desired

These are very tender, flavorful beans. Best if cooked in pressure cooker to get tender, or in crock pot overnight, prior to cooking in the oven.
