Barbecued Spareribs Recipe

4 lbs. ribs:
2 Tbsp. vinegar
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup catsup
Cayenne pepper
3 Tbsp. butter
1 medium onion, minced
3 Tbsp. Worcestershire
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1 cup water
1 Tbsp. celery salt

Directions:
Directions:
Place ribs in a pan and bake in oven for 1/2 hour to take off excess grease before sauce is poured over them. 350 degrees

Sauce:
Brown onion in butter. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
Pour over ribs. Bake in 275º oven for 2 hours (only 1 1/2 hours if baked for the 1/2 hour before sauce is poured over ribs).
This sauce is suitable for barbecued chicken, too.

The thing I like about this recipe is that it's so easy to do. If you have friends over, the ribs can be cooking while you enjoy the party!
