3 eggs, separated
3/4 c. margarine
11/2 c. brown sugar, divided
1/2 c. white sugar
1 t. vanilla extract
2 c. flour
1/4 t. baking soda
1/4 t. salt
16 oz chocolate chips
1 c. shredded coconut
3/4 c. chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg whites until stiff. Add 1 c. brown sugar and mix until glossy. Set aside. Beat margarine and rest of the sugars. Add yolks and vanilla and beat. Add flour, baking soda and salt and mix well. Press into a 9 x 13 pan. Sprinkle dough with chocolate chips, then coconut, then chopped nuts. Pour egg whites on top. Bake at 350º until golden brown about 35- 40 minutes.
