2 1/2 lbs medium shrimp - cook and cleaned
1 1/4 c salad oil
3/4 c white vinegar
1 1/2 t salt
2 1/2 t celery seed
2 1/2 T Capers and juice [1 jar]
2-3 large onions sliced thinly
8 bay leaves

In a large casserole dish, alternate layers of shrimp, bay leaves, onions and capers. In a blender, mx the caper juice, and the rest of the ingredients. Pour over the shrimp and marinate at least 2 days [the marinade cooks the shrimp]...up to 7 days. Cover unless you want to smell it every time you open the refrigerator. Serve with tooth picks.
