1-1/2 kg lean ground beef
2 diced onions
2 cups diced carrots
1 cup diced mushrooms
4 cups diced potatoes (frozen package works well)
Salt & pepper
3 T Hungarian paprika
1 cup red wine
3 cups beef broth
1 package of Knorr beef stock

Directions:
Directions:
Saute ground beef, drain in colander
Saute onions in a touch of oil
Add mushrooms and saute a bit more
Return meat to onions & mushrooms
Season with salt, pepper, and paprika
Add carrots and potatoes and stir well
Add wine, beef broth and stock package
Simmer covered for 20 minutes
Uncover and cook to reduce amount of liquid
Dehydrate at 60-65 C until well dried
