2 lb farmer's sausage
12 oz bottle of ale
6 whole cloves
1 bay leaf
4 peppercorns

Directions:
Directions:
Place sausage in cold skillet. Cook over low heat 12 to 15 min or until browned. Pour off fat. Add ale, cloves, bay leaf and peppercorns. Bring to boiling point cover and simmer 20 to 30 min.
