1 cake tofu
1/2 c bamboo shoots shredded
2 Tbsp black fungus or 3-4 Chinese dry mushrooms
1/2 cup carrots, julienned
1 pork chop, julienned


5 cups chicken broth
2 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
4 Tbsp soy sauce
4 Tbsp rice vinegar
1 tsp sesame oil
2 Tbsp finely chopped green
1 Tbsp finely chopped ginger
1 egg, beaten

Mixture:
2 Tbsp cornstarch
1/4 c water


Marinade:
1 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp corn starch
1/2 t sesame oil

Directions:
Directions:
1. mix marinade ingredients and marinade pork for 15 minutes
2. soak dried mushrooms in warm water for 20 minutes. Rinse and cut into thin pieces
If substituting mushrooms, cut off the stems and cut into thin strips.
Cut tofu into small squares. Cut bamboo shoots into strips, and then into fine slices.
3. Bring broth to a boil. Add pork, carrots, mushrooms, and bamboo shoots. Cook 2 minutes.
4. Add soy sauce, vinegar, and cornstarch mixture. Add tofu. Stir for a few minutes until soup thickens. Slowly pour egg in fine thread stirring. Add the tofu. When the broth is boiling, add the marinated pork.
