2 C flour
2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
2 C sugar
1 C oil
4 eggs
2 C shredded carrots
2 C chopped pecans
8 oz cream cheese
1 lb box confectioners sugar
1 1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Shift first 4 ingredients
mix sugar and oil, bat in eggs
Add flour mixture, mix in carrots and 1/2 pecans
Add mixture into 2 greased wax paper lined 9" cake pans.

Place in preheated 350º oven for 35/40 minutes or until tester comes out clean.

Cool in pans for 10 minutes then remove.

For frosting:
Beat cream cheese, stir in confectioners sugar and vanilla. Frost cake, sprinkling with remaining pecans
