Macaroni noodles 2 cups

2 Tbls flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup milk
1 cup cheddar cheese or Valvetta
salt and pepper to taste. May also add a few onion flakes.

Directions:
Cook macaroni as directed on package, drain and rinse
In medium saucepan over low heat melt the butter and add the flour, whisk till bubbly, dont let burn, add 1 cup milk and keep whisking and then add the cheese and stir till all is mixed together and starts to get thickened. Pour over the drained macaroni.
Cut up a can of SPAM into small pieces, add to the noodles in a cassarole dish. This will make about a 9 x 9 dish full. Bake at 325 about 20 minutes to heat all through. You may want to spray the casserole dish first. Have also used chicken.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This was a favorite of my family when the kids were little. I made this all the time. The homemade cheese sauce really gives it flavor. When I worked it was quicker to make a box of mac and cheese and add the Spam but its not the same flavor wise.
