1/2 c vegetable oil
1/2 c honey
2 tsp vanilla
1 egg
2 c old-fashioned oats (uncooked)
3/4 c all-purpose flour
1/2 c packed light brown sugar
1/2 c sliced almonds
1/2 c toasted wheat germ
1/2 c raisins
3/4 tsp salt

1. Preheat oven to 350ºF. Line 13 x 9 pan with foil and spray lightly
2. In 2-cup liquid measuring cup, stir oil, honey, vanilla, and egg. In a large bowl mix oats, flour, sugar, almonds, wheat germ, raisins and salt. With a rubber spatula stir honey mixture into oat mixture until blended. Scrape into pan and with a wet hand pat evenly into pan.
3. Bake 30 to 35 minutes and cool completely
4. When cool transfer using foil to a cutting board and cut into 4 strips lengthwise and crosswise into 6 pieces. Store in air-tight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks or store in the freezer.
