4 pork steaks
1/2 c chopped onion
3/4 c light brown sugar
2 apples cored
1/4 c brown sugar
1 large can sauerkraut (20 oz can)

Directions:
Directions:
Brown pork steaks on both sides. Place in bottom of casserole. top with onions mixed with sauerkraut. Sprinkle with 3/4 c brown sugar. Cover tightly and bake at 375ºF for one hour. Remove cover. Slice apples and lay on top. Sprinkle with 1/4 c brown sugar. Cover and bake for 1/2 hour.
