1 pound thick cut bacon
1 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon dry mustard
2 teaspoons chili powder
chopped pecans, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.
Line a jelly roll pan with aluminum foil, place an oven safe rack on top and spray with non-stick cooking spray. Place brown sugar, mustard, chili powder in ziploc bag, seal and shake until well mixed. Cut bacon in half and toss a few strips at a time in sugar mixture. Lay the coated bacon strips on the rack, if you are using the pecans, shake them up with the remaining brown sugar mixture and sprinkle on top of the bacon. Bake for 30 to 45 minutes or until crisp. Let bacon cool on the rack or a sheet of parchment paper.
