1 Tbsp butter
1 1/2 cups leeks or onions, chopped
2 cups broccoli, trimmed and chopped, including peeled stems
1 cup potatoes
4 cups chicken broth
1/4 cup ground almonds, toasted
1 cup light cream
salt and pepper
2 oz port wine

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in large saucepan, add vegetables and saute over medium heat for 5 minutes. Add broth and simmer for 20 minutes or until done.
Puree vegetable mixture in a blender, return to saucepan and add almonds and light cream. Simmer over medium heat until just heated through. Add salt and pepper to taste and port wine. Stir well and serve.
