1 cup white corn syrup (can use dark syrup too)
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup melted butter
3 whole eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup shelled halved pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all together well, Pour into unbaked 9" pie shell. The pecans will float up to top of mixture. Bake at 350º 45-50 minutes till silver knife inserted in center comes out clean. The easiest pie there is to make.

Have made this for years. The best pie there is. Steven recently had a piece and told me he always though pecan pie was an "Old People" pie but now it is his favorite. I think he was thinking of 'Minced Meat" pie.
