Ingredients:
1 box german chocolate cake mix - dry
3/4 cup melted margarine or butter
2/3 cup evaporated can milk (small can is 2/3 cup) Divided
1 14 oz bag of caramels or caramel bits
1 cup walnuts
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup vanilla chips
1/2 cup butterscotch chips

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry cake mix, 1/3 cup evaporated milk and the margarine or butter together.
Pour half the batter into a 9x13 pan (don't grease pan). Bake @ 350º for 5-6 minutes.
While cake is baking melt caramels and remaining 1/3 cup evaporated milk in microwave. Stir well. Pour over the baked cake mixture layer.
Top caramel layer with the nuts and chips. Top this layer with the remaining batter.
The remaining batter will be thick. I take small amounts and pat it flat in my hands and then lay on top of the chips and nuts. This won't cover everything but will spread a little while baking.
Bake another 15 minutes. Cool and cut.
