1 Pkg. preformed pie shells ( Pillsbury - comes 2 to box )
2 14-16 oz. bags frozen blackberries (or mixed berries)
1 stick butter (melted)
1½ Cup sugar for blackberries
½ Cup flour
¼ Cup sugar for top crust
½ Stick butter cut into cubes for top crust
½ Cup water

Preheat oven to 350º F.

Place one of the pie crusts on bottom and up the sides of a large iron skillet. Pierce bottom and sides with fork. Bake 7 minutes and remove from oven. Increase temp to 400º F.

Mix melted butter, 1½ cup sugar and flour in bowl. Put berries into bowl with above mixture and toss until berries are covered and mixture is crumbly. Pour berry mixture into baked pie shell and sprinkle water over berries.

Put second crust over berries sealing at edges. Scatter butter cubes over top crust and sprinkle with 1/4 cup sugar.

Bake approximately 45 minutes or until bubbly at edges and beginning to brown on top. Use a pie shield over crust to prevent from burning.

This is very good. I let it sit until it cools a little. Then serve with vanilla ice cream on top. Very Good!
