¾ c butter
1⅛ c sugar
1½ squares chocolate, melted and cooled
1½ t vanilla
3 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter. Gradually add sugar. Continue mixing until well combined. Blend in cool, melted chocolate and vanilla. Add 3 eggs, one at a time, beating 5 minutes after each addition. Turn mixture into cooled, baked pie shell. Chill 1 to 2 hours. Top with whipped cream. This pie is better if made day before serving.

This recipe is from Marian's Green Recipe Box. It was originally from Della Bledsoe, Marian's mother-in-law. Granny Bledsoe shared it with Marian on one of the many trips Marian made with the girls to Albuquerque to visit Mike (Dan's sister) and Marshall Pierce with whom Della lived at the time.
