6 cups cooked ground beets
3 cups sugar
2 cups white vinegar
1½ tsp. cloves
½ tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Heat sugar, vinegar and spices. Add Beets. Cook until it reaches a low boil. Place in jars and seal. Once in jars do hot water bath for 10 minutes or so. (1½ batches = 8 pints)

These taste like beet pickles, but they are ground.

NOTE: to get the beets ground I used the meat grinder like you would for sausage , it works great.
