1 cup butter
4 eggs
3/4 cup flour (Twice)
2 cups sugar
4 Tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients except the flour until nice and smooth. Then add 3/4 cup flour twice (do not put all flour in at once). Bake º350 in 9X13 cake pan for 25 or so minutes.
 

Frosting

FROSTING:
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup margarine or butter
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Bring to boil the sugar, margarine and milk. Remove from stove and add chocolate chips. Beat until hard. May have to put on burner to get chips to melt all the way.

The brownie recipe is in the smith coolbook from 1995 Barbara Hahn. I have made this recipe for years and my family just loves it. The Frosting recipe is my mom, Shirley Flieth's recipe it is the best!!
