2 cups sugar
1/2 cup milk
4 tbsp cocoa
1 stick butter
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup peanut butter
2 cups quick oats (1 minute type)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together sugar, milk, cocoa, and butter and bring to a boil in large pan (grandma used an iron skillet). Boil 1 minute then remove from heat. Add vanilla and peanut butter and mix well.Add oats and mix well. Drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper and let cool. Store in an airtight container separating layers with wax paper so they don't stick together.

May be thin when you start dropping on wax paper but mixture thickens as it cools, so hurry.
