3 lb. (30-40 ct/per pound), raw medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tsp. salt
1 c. olive oil - for ⅓ c. x 3 batches
1½ sticks butter - for 4 tbsp. x 3 batches
6-8 cloves garlic, coarsely chopped - divided by 3
6 chili peppers - 2 x 3 batches
3 pinches of cayenne or red pepper - for 1 pinch x 3 batches
1½ tsp. paprika - for ½ tsp. x 3 batches
French bread, cubed

Directions:
Directions:
Salt shrimp and chill 30 minutes. Divide into 3 batches.
Per Batch: Heat oil and butter in flame proof dish over medium heat until foaming. Add garlic, chili peppers, red pepper - stir 1 minute or until golden brown. Add shrimp and cook 3-6 minutes until curled up and pink. Sprinkle with paprika and stir. Serve in dish that you cooked it in (careful, it will be very hot). Use French bread for sopping!
