Pudding Mixture:
2 C. Milk
1/ 1/4 C. Sugar
3 Eggs
Pinch Salt

1 Envelope KNOX Gelatin
1/2 C. cold water

1 pint cream whipped or Cool Whip
3/4 C. chopped walnuts (other nuts may be substituted)
1 tsp. vanilla (or OPTION to add Maple Flavoring)

Cook pudding ingredients in double boiler until thick, while warm add 1 envelope Knox gelatin dissolved in 1/2 C. cold water

Beat mixture until cool, add 1 pint of whipped cream/Cool Whip and the chopped walnuts and 1 tsp. vanilla/maple flavoring.

This was a staple dessert for our parents, aunts and uncles and grandparents. I will have to make it as an adult and see how I like it now.
