1 1/2 cups sour cream
1 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup white wine vinegar
2 Tbl. curry powder
1 Tbl. DIjon mustard 1 tsp. sugar
S&P
4 cups cooked rice (about 1 1/4 cups raw),cooled
2/3 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 lb.cooked medium shrimp
1- 5 3/4 oz. can pitted,black olives,halved
chopped onion

Directions:

Combine first 6 ingredients in medium bowl. Season with S&P.
Combine rice,celery and 1/2 cup onion in large bowl. Pour 1 cup dressing over and toss. Cover salad and remaining dressing and refrigerate 1 hour. (Can be prepared 8 hours ahead). Pour 3/4 cup remaining dressing over salad. (Reserve remainder for another use). Add shrimp and olives and toss. Sprinkle with green onion and serve.

When I first looked at this I could not remember this recipe. But as I typed the flavors started to come back to me. It 's funny how that works. This came from Bon Appetit dated February 1990.
