Directions:
Dissolve Junket tablets in 1/4 cup water.  Melt candy bars in double
boiler.  While candy is melting, combine sugar, Eagle Brand milk, whole
milk, salt, vanilla, and 1/2 can Milnot in freezer.  Add 1/2 can evaporated milk to
candy mixture and stir until smooth.  Stir in Junket tablets.  Quickly add
to the mixture in freezer and stir briefly.  Let stand ten minutes, then
freeze as usual.  Makes one gallon.

NOTE: Junket tablets are hard to find, but well worth the effort in making this ice cream so smooth and rich. They may be found near gelatin products in your grocery store, or, if necessary, online.

The most wonderful flavor! Worth all the effort to make it the old-fashioned way.
