3 eggs
1 cup sugar
3 Tablespoons cornstarch or 1/2 cup flour not both
3 cups milk
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream the eggs and sugar together add your choice of thickener, milk and vanilla.
Cook on low heat so doesn't scorch or double boiler until starts to get thick.

Variations
Chocolate Pudding add 3 Tablespoons of Cocoa and 1/4 cup brown sugar

Coconut Pudding add 1 cup coconut

Mom made pudding a lot. The vanilla would add canned plums on top. Whipped cream or carnation milk on top of chocolate. Was so good when warm
