1 1/2 - cups Sugar
1 - cup ( two sticks) Butter, softened
1/3 - cup Light Molasses
1 - Egg
2 1/4 - cups Flour
1 - cup Whole Wheat Flour
2 - tsp Baking Soda
2 - tsp Ginger
2 - tsp Cinnamon
1/4 tsp Salt

Directions:
Directions:
Beat well the first 4 ingredients.
Combine all dry ingredients, add to first mixture.
Cover and Refrigerate at least one hour, best over night.
Quarter dough and roll to 1/8 inch thickness on well floured surface,
cut desired shapes, place on non greased cookie sheet.
Bake 7-9 minutes at 350º,
After cooled, decorate or frost as desired.
