2c. Flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. Salt
2 c. Milk
4eggs (separated)
1/2 c. Butter (melted)

Directions:
Directions:
Separate eggs and beat whites until firm. Set aside.
Combine flour, salt, baking powder, milk and egg yolks in large bowl and mix thoroughly removing all lumps.
Add melted butter gradually while still mixing.
When well blended, fold in egg whites until well blended. (do not use mixer).
Cook in waffle maker (preferably Belgian style) until brown and crisp on outside.
Add Syrup (or whatever) liberally.

Th only recipe passed on to me by my Father, this is the most basic and wonderful waffle recipe I have ever tasted. Add fruit, syrup, nutella (Pearl) or whatever you like and you won't be disappointed!
