½ c flour
1 t baking powder
melted butter
1 qt. berries or fruit, sweetened and flavored to taste

Directions:
Make thin batter of the above ingredients. Pour in deep pan over a generous amount of melted butter. DO NOT spread batter. Pour fruit, with extra amount of juice in middle of batter. Bake in hot oven at 450º until done. Canned berries or cherries have an extra amount of juice and make an excellent fruit for this cobbler. Rhubarb is also good. Any fruit may be used with extra juice added.
