3 eggs, beaten
½ c sugar
½ c corn syrup
⅛ t salt
1 t vanilla
¼ c butter or melted fat
1 unbaked plain pastry
1 c pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Line pie pan with pastry shell. Layer pastry with pecans. Beat eggs until fluffy. Add sugar, syrup, salt, vanilla and butter. Pour mixture over pecans. Bake in 350° oven for 50 to 60 minutes. The pecans will rise to top.
