1⅓ c flour
1½ c sugar
1¼ t baking powder
½ t baking soda
½ c shortening
1 c milk
1 t vanilla
2 eggs
2 squares chocolate, melted or 6 T cocoa
1½ t red food coloring

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder and baking soda. Add shortening, milk and vanilla. Mix well for 2 minutes. Add eggs, chocolate and food coloring. Beat for 2 more minutes. Bake in 375° oven for 30 to 35 minutes. FROSTING: Add 2 or 3 melted and cooled unsweetened chocolate Squares to Seven Minute Frosting. Fold in rather than stir to prevent thinning of frosting.
