⅔ c sugar
2⅔ T water
⅓ c white corn syrup
2 egg whites
1½ t vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Stir sugar, water and corn syrup until blended well in saucepan. Boil rapidly to 242°. Mixture should spin 6" to 8" thread or few drops forms firm ball when dropped into cold water. When mixture begins to boil, start beating two whites. Beat until stiff enough to hold a peak. Pour hot syrup slowly in a thin steady stream into beaten egg whites, beating constantly with electric or rotary beater until mixture stands in very stiff peaks. Blend in 1½ teaspoons vanilla.
