Ingredients:  
-4 cups flour
-1/2 pound butter
-2 cups sugar
-2 eggs, well beaten
-Almond halves
-Egg whites, beaten
-Cinnamon and sugar, mixed

Directions:
Directions:
-Mix flour and sugar.
-Work in butter with your hands till it looks like corn meal.
-Add eggs and knead till dough is smooth.
-Make into 2 loaves and chill well.
-Slice very thin.
-Spread with well beaten egg whites, sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar mixture, add nuts.
-Bake at 375 degrees till lightly brown, 8 - 10 minutes
