2 lbs. asparagus
1/3 cup grated gruyere cheese
1/2 cup butter
1/3 cup grated Parmesan

Directions:
Directions:
Cook asparagus until tender. Melt half of butter and put in heated, shallow dish. Mix cheeses and put in another dish. Dip asparagus first in butter then in cheese and arrange in layers on heated serving platter, At same time,brown remaining butter and pour over asparagus. Season.

Asparagus has always seemed to be a favorite among the Cooking Club and this is a recipe I forgot about. Sounds good for Easter brunch or anytime asparagus is in season!
