1 lb. spaghetti
1/4 lb. bacon
2 cups heavy cream
3 eggs
parsley
Parmesan cheese
ground hot pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Cook spaghetti al dente according to package directions. In frying pan,saute bacon(chopped first), When bacon is cooked,add heavy cream. Cook low until cream is completely melted. Add spaghetti to cream mixture,break 3 fresh eggs on top. Cook (low flame) and mix thoroughly. Add parsley and pepper to taste. When sauce thickens,add Parmesan and serve.

Start the water for the pasta while you are cooking the bacon.This is truly another Cooking Club Classic. I say this because I have made it a hundred times and it is the standard that I use to judge Carbonara served in a restaurant. One thing I do occasionall is substitute prosciutto for the bacon.
