6 eggs
2 c sugar
½ c butter
½ c + 1 c apple butter
1 t cinnamon
1 t nutmeg
½ t salt
3 c flour
1 t baking powder, heaping
1½ t soda
1½ c nuts
1 c heavy cream

Directions:
Directions:
Grease and flour 10" Bundt pan. Cream butter, ½ cup apple butter, and sugar until well combined. Add eggs one at a time. Add in cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, baking powder and baking soda, mixing well. Alternate adding flour and cream. End with flour. Pour half of batter into pan. Spread batter in pan with remaining apple butter. Cover apple butter with remaining batter. Place pan in oven, then turn oven on to 325º F. Bake for 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in center of ring comes out clean. Remove cake from oven. Let cool. May frost with Caramel Frosting (found in Frosting and Icings subcategory of Desserts section of this cook book), if desired.
