1 c softened margarine
3/4 c cooking oil
1 c sugar
1 c powdered sugar
2 eggs
4 1/4 c flour (stir before measuring)
1 t baking soda
1 t. cream of tartar
1 t vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream margarine, oil, sugars, and eggs until super creamy. Add vanilla. Then add dry ingredients. Mix only until blended. Drop or scoop onto ungreased cookie sheet. I flattened them a bit with my fingertips for smoother top for frosting. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes at 350 just until sides start to brown.

Frosting

1/4 c butter
1/4 c shortning
3 1/2 c powdered sugar
Milk to desired consistency
1 t vanilla
Food coloring of choice ( optional)
