1 lb (500 g) ground beef
1/2 lb (250 g) lean ground pork
2/3 c (150 ml) undiluted carnation evaporated milk
1/2 c (125 ml) seasoned fine dry bread crumbs
1 pouch dry onion soup mix
1 egg beaten
1 can (7 1/2 oz/213 ml) pizza sauce divided
4 oz (125 g) sliced mozzarella cheese

Conventional Oven
Combine beef, pork, evaporated milk, bread crumbs, soup mix, egg and one half can pizza sauce in large bowl. Mix lightly but thoroughly. Press into 9" (23 cm) skillet with ovenproof handle or 9" (23 cm) pie plate. Bake in 375ºF/190ºC oven 40 to 45 min or until cooked through. Drain fat. Spread remaining pizza sauce over meat and arrange cheese on top. Bake 5 min longer. Cut into wedges to serve.

Microwave Method
Prepare meat loaf mixture as above. Press into 9" (23 cm) microwave-safe pie plate. Cover with vented plastic wrap. Microwave on high (100%) 5 min. Rotate plate 1/2 turn while cooking. Drain fat. Re-cover and microwave on medium (50%) 10 to 12 min or until cooked through. Rotate plate half turn and drain fat once while cooking. Drain fat from cooked meat loaf. Spoon remaining pizza sauce over meat and arrange cheese on top. Microwave uncovered on high (100%) 2 min or until cheese is melted. Serve as above.
