2 cups sugar
3/4 cup evaporated milk
2 TB light corn syrup
2 oz unsweetened baking chocolate OR 4 TB cocoa powder
2 TB butter
1 TB vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
1) In a heavy saucepan, combine sugar, evaporated milk, light corn syrup and chocolate or cocoa.
2) Cook over medium heat till chocolate melts, stirring constantly. Cook till 'soft ball' stage (234 degrees).
3) Remove from heat, put butter on top of mixture and let stand till almost cool, but still malleable.
4) Add vanilla and beat fudge until it is no longer glossy, and it is thick and creamy.
5)Pour into lightly buttered pan (8X14 inches).
Makes 1 1/2 lbs.
