Ingredients:  
1/2 c butter
1 egg yolk
1/3 c white sugar
pinch of salt
1 c sifted flour
1 egg white

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar and add yolk of egg then beat and add flour and salt. Form into small balls. Roll each ball in egg white slightly beaten then roll in chopped nuts and flatten in center. Place 1/2 cherry in each ball. Bake on greased cookie sheet at 375ºF until golden in color.
