- Equal Parts Butter and Flour

Sauce

- Red Pepper (Rough Cut)
- Jalapeno (Rough Cut)
- Fresh Basil
- Minced Garlic
- V8 Juice
- Tomato Juice (substitute with Tomato Puree, for controlling salt levels)
- Heavy Cream

- Melt butter in sauce pot until frothy.
- Sweat Red Pepper and Jalapeno over medium heat until softened
- add Garlic and cook for 1 minute
- add flour and cook out flour. keep the roux mixture blond for maximum thickness
- add Fresh Basil, V8, and Tomato Juice
- add Heavy Cream and bring mix to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer for about 1 hour
- use blender or immersion blender to puree smooth.
- Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Pour on linguine pasta with sauteed shrimp.
- add Parmesan Cheese (optional) and serve hot.
