1 lg. package strawberry jello (not sugarless)
2 10-oz packages frozen sliced strawberries
16 oz. crushed pineapple (undrained)
2 large bananas, diced
1 cup sour cream

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve jello in two cups of boiling water. Stir constantly for two minutes. Add frozen strawberries (do not thaw) and stir. Let is sit until strawberries are thawed, stirring occasionally and breaking up the strawberries as it thaws.

Stir in pineapple. then diced bananas. Pour half of this mixture into a 9x13 pan. Put pan into refrigerator and refrigerate until solid. Remove from refrigerator and spread sour cream over the top. Pour the other half of the jello mixture on top and put back into refrigerator. Refrigerate until solid.

Cut into squares and enjoy! This makes a good dessert, too.

My mother used to make this recipe when I was growing up, so I have very fond memories of eating this jello salad. It is especially good with roasted chicken and rice pilaf. One of my favorite meals from my childhood. :)
