Fettuccini Alfredo Recipe

1 lb. fettuccine noodles
1 stick butter
2 garlic cloves - minced
1 c. heavy whipping cream
1 c. shredded Parmesan cheese
salt, pepper and parsley to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in medium saucepan.
Add minced garlic and saute until translucent.
Add whipping cream and stir.
Add a dash of salt, pepper and parsley.
Turn stove to low and cook for 15-20 minutes until thick and bubbly. Make sure to stir often.
In a large pot, boil noodles as directed while sauce is cooking.
Add Parmesan cheese to cream sauce. Stir until melted.
Simmer for 10 minutes.
Pour over cooked and drained pasta.

I like to add in: cooked broccoli and cooked chicken or shrimp.
