1 1/2 lb Maple Leaf Canned Ham
1 (14 oz) tin York Sweet Pitted Red Cherries
1 tbsp. cornstarch
3 tbsp. granulated sugar
red food coloring
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 tsp ginger
1/4 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Drain cherries reserving juice. Combine cornstarch and sugar in saucepan. Gradually stir in cherry juice and cook until thick and clear. Add a few drops of food coloring, lemon juice and spices. Stir in cherries and heat thoroughly. If sauce appears too thick thin with a little water. Serve hot spicy sauce with either chilled or heated Maple Leaf Canned Ham.
