1 cup chili sauce
¼ cup tomato paste
1 teaspoon dried minced onion
½ tablespoon garlic powder
½ cup olive oil
½ cup red wine vinegar
2 tablespoons finely grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Directions:
Directions:
Combine olive oil and vinegar. Whisk in chili sauce, tomato paste, and minced onion. Mix in remaining ingredients and store in fridge.

This is the quintessential “House Italian” used by so many local Italian restaurants from my childhood and even to this day. This is my version and it’s as infallible as it is mouthwatering.
